Training days and workshops can be tailored to your needs. We provide training to practitioners and to parents. Specific topics for training include Connecting with Kids through Stories and Parent coaching. General themes include parenting from an attachment perspective; supporting families, children and foster carers at the time of placement; working through your child’s timeline, dealing with contact and life story work.
In the past, we’ve provided training to adoptive parents, foster carers, kinship carers and social workers. Material can be presented as stand alone sessions, a series of sessions, or half day and full day workshops – whatever you prefer.
